The Indian Cookbook Series

About

My mom never wrote a single recipe down.

I grew up in my mom’s kitchen, watching her cook without ever really learning how to cook myself. I watched her turn a pinch of this and a handful of that into meals that somehow always tasted right. For years, I thought cooking was something you either knew or you didn’t. But now, I’m learning that it’s a journey — one recipe, one mistake, and one meal at a time.

And that’s what I want this space to be about: learning together, sharing what I’ve learned from my mom, and discovering the little things that make cooking feel less like a chore and more like a way to connect. You don’t need to know everything before you start. Sometimes, you just need someone in the kitchen learning alongside you.
